Operation Sandy Xmas

Meet Tera Juerling and Dina Sommerer, two local women who jumped into action to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The pair took to Facebook to launch a donation drive that brought dozens of truck loads of needed items to the shore and other places hit hard by the superstorm.
They're still collecting donations of food, toiletries and other goods, and now they're turning their attention to making the holidays brighter with Operation Sandy Xmas. They've set up four events (and counting)in December, teaming up with reality TV starts from the shows Jersey Shore and Jerseylicious to bring toys to the children victimized by Sandy. Visit Trentonian.com on Thursday for a full story and more details on their efforts. But for now, check out the video interview with this pair of hard-working ladies and visit their Operation Sandy Xmas Event page on Facebook.
